And Dinah finally updates her stagnant blog after almost one and a half months
God has been super good to me
His blessings are really overpouring
A summary of what has been happening the past month:

21km of running
Did my first longer than 10km running race - Singapore Bay Run aka Army Half Marathon aka Sheares Bridge Run - whatever you wanna call it. Won the women's closed category with a timing of 1hr 30mins 16secs. It's really amazing, cos I hardly ran at all! My weekly mileage was less than 20km??!?! And my hip had been bothering me for almost a month. I was so worried that I won't even finish the race!! So that just proves that God IS real and He ran with me and gave me that victory. :):)

NIKE+ Human Race
Again, He ran with me and gave me a superb PB of 39.55mins for my 10km. The first time going under 40mins!! Really thank God for the gift!! That timing was a lil more than half a min behind singapore's fastest marathoner, Vivian Tang. Followed her pace for the first 5km,but when she realised I was behind her,she sped up and I couldn't keep up any longer. Was a really tough race, first time starting fast at the beginning and pushing all the way til the end. That timing made me the champion for the U25 and 2nd for the open category, which gave me many many good prizes. Catch the human race telecast on channel 5 on the 19th of September (if im not wrong)

teamNUS Sportswoman of the year award
Yup, thanks to the bi team's nomination, (thks nic josh and alvin!) me and mok got the sportswoman n man award together. Pics of us gonna be up on e lampposts soon! Plus merit award for cross country! And honorary awards too :)

Sponsors

First Endurance finally gave me my supplments of multi vitamins, optygen and EFS drink, and I really think they work! My aerobic endurace is way high now,but gotta work on my muscular structure now to keep up with my improvement in the cardio side. Thanks James and Barry from 3-nergy!

NIKE gave me a 2year contract, more than what I can ask for. I'm very happy to be part of the NIKE family and I know I'm well taken care of. Thanks Andrew!

Gonna get my new Ridley Democales frame later from Passi:one bicycles. Second hand frame, but still very new, and definitely much lighter than my triton s frame. thanks dan for the frame!

School

School has been great! God placed me in a wonderful class with superb classmates, really look forward to going for class these days. Fun, energetic, caring and responsible. My PGDE 3A class rocks!! Love all of them. The tests and assignments are not so nice though..what nonsense philosophy and all.bleah...

Really miss nus life though. Weelee, lala, zy, brenda, sharon, zhijian, melfy, stephee, weihurrr etc etc. Been going back for swim trainings though, so I still get to see people around.

Celestine, laureen, jasmine and troy - haven't seen u guys in agesssss!! All so busy. Hope we can find a time to catch up on each other.

Oh yeah, had an opportunity to do a couple of tests too. The lactate and VO2 MAX test at SSC as well as a body scan for Growth & Development test in school. Quite pleased that my body fat is 14percent! Preetty low, but the average for female triathletes is 10-15pct, so I can still cut down!!! :p

Very happy for zy for a particular reason :) pls take care of yourself babe!! Hope u feel less flu-y soon!

To weewee n lala, enjoy ur holidays soon!! So excited for u all.haha..I wanna eat all of ur bakingssssssss!!!!
