had fun on the roller last Wednesday, taking pictures and videos cos it was the first ‘ride’ after my ‘surgery’ on Monday and I was very happy :)

hello everyone!
the Wilier has been treating me very well these days!
very nice to ride, very stiff (Lemuel Shifu teach one), very fast!
back to proper training again after Doc Cormac gave the all clear on Monday
although a lil bit of fluid came back..but shd be okay! but if it hurts more and more with training then i have to go back to check again.praying hard that it doesn't come back!

went for swim training on Monday

and weewee's too!!! and lala bakes really well too
now that leaves only me who doesn't bake.hmmm

Mok is back from Jakarta! did a superb timing of 33.17
Ying Rong did a 40.38! that's insane for a 16 (almost) year old! crazily fast!

alrighty, gotta go off for lunch now and then lab training at ssc
followed by transformers later in the evening! yay!

just changed my frame a few hours ago, from 8am-12pm

i feel that it’s a lil too red though. wanted white handlebar tapes, but the last one was sold (cos the frame came in late……………. :( )

You can't please everyone

Sometimes when you love someone so much, you'd wanna do everything to make them feel happy, make them comfortable, don't wanna inconvenience them etc etc.

But as much as you like, sometimes u can't please all of them at the same time and u feel terrible at the end of the day

Tour of Friendship

the report that was not to be!

i sat in front of my computer, recollecting my thoughts and the race happenings for close to 4 hours!
then, with an accidental click of the power switch whilst the computer had yet to enter into hibernation mode, all the hard work was GONE (because i didn’t have my batt in the laptop)
sometimes i just HATE technology.sigh

so i don’t think i’m going to do it all over again………
but just wanna take this opportunity to thank:

-Daniel Loy and Jean-Francois Torrelle for putting the Passi:one:-JFT cycling team together
-Cass, my team mate and roomie for the great (although painful) times that we had training and having fun (with the ‘prostitute’)
-my sponsors – Nike for the apparel, First Endurance for the EFS, multi vits and optygen, Limar for my wonderfully light and cooling helmet, and finally, Smith Optics for my sunglasses which protected my eyes from the super hot sun in thailand

-mok and my sister who were my greatest fans
-everyone else who gave me well wishes and prayed for me!

ASIAN CYCLING CHAMPIONSHIPS!
it’ll be held in East Kalimantan from the 13-19th August 2009
leaving for Indonesian on the 12th of August
16th will be the Road Race and 17th the ITT
so exciting!!

but for now, i have to recover from a stupid injury sustained from the NIE outdoor camp
sigh….it has been a month already
had a Baker’s cyst, so Dr Cormac stuck a needle in and took the fluid out.was quite cool.haha
it may come back and if i does, we’ll have to inject steroids to help reduce the inflammation
it seems to be hurting quite a bit again! oh no!

will update as my Wilier (its still not in yet!!!!!!!!!) comes in
and about trainings as my injury goes away!
I CAN’T WAIT TO CYCLE WITHOUT PAIN!!!!

it’s been a MONTH since Tour of Friendship and i have YET to write/post a race report

terrible me

my new Wilier Izoard frame is gonna arrive at Passi:one: tomorrow! I can’t wait!

I WILL post pictures and the building up of my bike as it happens over next few days

as well as the long overdue race report and the past month’s rather ‘happening’ happenings SOON *crosses fingers*
